Fishing Lodges

Tortuga Lodge

Tortuga Lodge, situated right on the main canal on 50 acres of private land at the entrance to the exotic Tortuguero National Park on Costa Rica's northeast Caribbean coast, offers “the most luxurious accommodations and best food in Tortuguero”, according to Berlitz.
The 24 Deluxe rooms (each with ceiling fans plus fully equipped bathrooms) are in handsome lodges made of hardwoods and fronted by wide verandahs with leather rocking chairs. Each has comfortable beds, huge screened windows and plenty of hot water. There is an upscale restaurant serving excellent family style meals (outside on the verandah when it is not raining), and there is a special saltwater-treated swimming pool and water garden.
Accommodation provided in the fishing charters we book out of Tortuga Lodge, and in the Caribbean and Bonanza packages, is all-inclusive.

At Tortuga Lodge, you’ll be fishing with on the 22-foot Bull Shark with Captain Eddie Brown, Costa Rica’s undisputed tarpon king, just off the coast, in the local rivers and lagoons, further north in Barra del Colorado, or even up across the border in Nicaragua. Included in the price is the round-trip domestic airfare from San José on commercial or charter flights, guide, fishing boat with fuel, fishing tackle, and all meals.

Crocodile Bay Lodge
Crocodile Bay Lodge is a first class resort right next to some of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches. It sits on its own 44 acres of tropical gardens, located on the Golfo Dulce right by the small, rustic and friendly village of Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula in southwest Costa Rica.
Buildings are located throughout the landscaped property, the main building housing the restaurant, bar, reception, tackle & gift shop and roof-top observation deck. The restaurant has outside dining and A/C dining inside. The pool is easily accessible, and the spacious air-conditioned rooms each have two Queen beds and a private deck.
Accommodation is all-inclusive, with meals, cocktails or your favorite beverage at our open bar, and dining in our restaurant.

Fishing is excellent all year long in the Lodge’s own 21-foot Center Consoles, 27-foot Rambos, 33-foot Strike Boats and new 35-foot Boston Whalers. December through May is best for sailfish; June through September is best for marlin.
Crocodile Bay Lodge fishing packages include: first and last nights at a first class San José hotel, ground transfers between airport and hotel, round trip air between San Jose and the lodge. At the lodge, your package includes lodging, guide, fishing boat with fuel, fishing tackle, and all meals including beer, local liquor and soft drinks. NOT INCLUDED: International airfare, meals in San José, airport departure tax and gratuities. Prices depend on length of stay, type of boat, and fishing days.
